- The Grambharati institute was established in 1958 by Shri Motibhai Chaudhari and his colleagues. Shri Jugatans Dave veternLoksevak and Educationist of Gujarat inspired for this noble work. Education Commenced with "Gramshala" the Basic Secondary School. After some years it was found that most of the students passing from such post Basic Schools had no opportunity of having higher education and it was difficult and inconvenient for them to join University College. The need for an institution of Rural Higher Education in continuation of Post Basic Education was felt. Keeping this concept in mind Grambharati BRS College was started in 1985-86. Gram Seva Mahavidyalaya (College) is affiliated to the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University - PATAN. The students from post Basic Schools and even from the general Schools of Gujarat get admission for their higher education in college.
